1) Swim 50m continously 25m using either Breaststroke or Front- Crawl 25m using either Backstroke or Survival Backstroke

1) Swim wearing clothing for 25m Demonstrate ability to correctly fit a PFD in the water.
SwimSafer Stage 3 Rescue Skills
1)Throw a flotation aid to a partner at 3m distance and instruct to kick to the edge.2) Perform a reach rescue using a rigid aid and pull a partner to safety

Principles of personal survival1) Name three ways of getting into the water safely?
A: Walking down a ladder/stairs, wading in
slowly, step in if you know the depth.

A: No.
4) What is a survival stroke?
A: Breaststroke, sidestroke, survival backstroke. A stroke that can be used when tired as it uses less energy and has underwater recovery and rest phase.
